Smolensk region: administrative fine for publishing a prohibited post on a social network

In September 2016, in the Smolensk region, the court fined a local resident for posting a banned audio clip on social media.

In September 2016 in the Velizh district of the Smolensk region an administrative case was initiated under Art. 20.29 Administrative Code (mass dissemination of extremist materials).

The case was started against a local resident who, as reportedly published on his page in one of the social networks a certain audio recording recognized as extremist by the decision of the Industrial District Court city ​​of Stavropol.

Perhaps it is about   one of the songs of the musical group "Justified Terrorism", part compositions of which was banned by the decision of the Industrial District Court of the city of Stavropol dated July 10, 2014 (clause 2671 of the Federal List extremist materials ).

The court found the young man guilty and fined.
