Former Prime Minister of Portugal Antoniu Guttalsh is appointed to the post of General Secretary-Safety Secretary of the UN Security. According to The New York Times, fifteen countries - members of the organization unanimously approved the candidacy of Gutterish.
For the formal appointment of Gutteric, the position of candidate is required by the vote of the General Assembly.
Antoniu Gutterish held the post of Prime Minister Portugal from 1995 to 2002, and from 2005 to 2015 he was the UN Supreme Commissioner for Refugees-during the period when the number of displaced persons throughout the world reached the highest level since the end of World War II. The establishment of the candidacy of the Secretary General is a phased process. The day before it was clear that Gutterish was a favorite.
