Barnaul: investigation into the case of publishing xenophobic images on social networks has been completed

In October 2016, in the city of Barnaul, Altai Territory, in court case was referred against a 17-year-old local resident who published in social networks xenophobic images with captions.

In October 2016, in the city of Barnaul, Altai Territory, there were completed the investigation of the case of inciting ethnic hatred (part 1 of article 282 of the Criminal Code) and public calls for extremism (Part 2 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code).

A 17-year-old local resident will soon be in the dock, who is accused of posting on her page in October 2015 on the social network some xenophobic pictures with captions containing calls for violence.

Details were not reported.

The case has already been referred to the court for consideration on the merits.
