In Sevastopol, Igor Movenko was fined for a rune on a bicycle.
On September 22, 2016, the Gagarinsky District Court of Sevastopol fined him 2,000 rubles. according to part 1 of Art. 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (propaganda and public display of Nazi symbols) by Igor Movenko. According to media reports, Movenko pasted the image of the rune "sangel" (probably meaning "wolfsangel" used in the symbols of the Azov battalion - ed.) "on the frame and wing the rear wheel of a Winner bike.
The offender's bicycle was left "in the storage room of the district court until such time as the court decision takes effect or is challenged."
On October 11, Movenko appealed to the Sevastopol City Court against the decision of the district court. The appeal in this case will be considered on November 7.
Earlier, on September 7, 2016, at the entrance to the Novus shopping center on October Revolution Avenue, a resident of Sevastopol beat Movenko for a sticker with the symbols of the Azov battalion on a bicycle. It is not known if the attacker was punished.
