Died artist Misha Brusilovsky

In Yekaterinburg, an artist, an honorary academician of the Russian Academy of Arts, Misha Brusilovsky, reports the words of his wife Tatyana Plaus-Brusilovskaya.

The artist passed away after a long illness. He was 85 years old.

Brusilovsky was born on May 7, 1931 in Kyiv. All-Union fame was brought to him by the painting “1918”, created in collaboration with Gennady Mosin. Brusilovsky’s works are located in many largest museums and galleries in Russia, as well as in private collections around the world.

In 2008, the sculptural group “Citizens” was installed in Yekaterinburg. Conversation ”, depicting the famous Ural artists Vitaly Volovich, Hermann Metelev and Misha Brusilovsky.
