The European Union approved new sanctions against Crimean officials

The European Union approved the introduction of new sanctions against the authorities of Crimea. According to Reuters, this said the Minister of Finance of Slovakia Peter Casimer.

“The chairman of the European Council took a new list of restrictive measures regarding actions that undermine the territorial integrity of Ukraine,” said Kazimer.

According to him, the new list will be officially published on November 9.

Meanwhile, Kommersant reported with reference to the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Kasytutis Vashkelyavichi that the European Union submitted to the sanctions list of State Duma deputies from Crimea and Sevastopol. These are deputies Konstantin Bakharev, Andrei Kozenko, Svetlana Savchenko, Ruslan Balbek, Pavel Schperov, Dmitry Belik, Mikhail Sheremet and Natalya Poklonskaya. Sheremet and Poklonskaya were included in the sanctions list earlier.
