Tesak's arrest extended

Martsinkevich's defense asked the court to stop against him proceedings under Article 282 of the Criminal Code “due to the expiration of the statute of limitations sane crime." The court refused to dismiss the case.

On August 15, 2014, Martsinkevich himself was sentenced to p. "a" part 2 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code to five years in prison with serving a sentence in a strict regime colony . On November 11, 2014, the Moscow City Court, considering a complaint against verdict in the case of Maxim (Tesak) Martsinkevich, reclassified accusation with Part 2 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code for part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code and commuted his punishment with 5 years imprisonment up to 2 years and 10 months. On January 27, 2014, Tesak was detained and extradited to Moscow from Havana. Thus, Martsinkevich served his term, and in November 2016 he was supposed to be released. However, he became a defendant in a new criminal case and is under arrest until April 17, 2017.
