The ex-Minister of Finance added that he has questions about the nature of the prosecution and the role of Rosneft. “Until we get all the explanations, we do not feel how open and how solid these accusations are. We know that law enforcement agencies may be wrong, ”said Kudrin.

“We understand that there are also mistakes in the work of even law enforcement agencies. We have no complete confidence in some steps. We know from the experience of other officials who were released after the arrest and the prosecution was removed from them. On the night of November 15, the Investigative Committee announced the detention of Ulyukaev. It is alleged that he was detained red -handed when receiving a bribe of two million dollars. Ulyukaev is suspected that he had extorted money from Rosneft representatives in exchange for the purchase of a control package of Bashneft shares.

The Basmanny Court sent Ulyukaev under house arrest.

Later, President Vladimir Putin fired Ulyukaev from the post of Minister of Economic Development in connection with the loss of trust.
