The Moscow District Military Court at an off-site meeting in St. Petersburg passed a sentence on Muslim Dmitry Mikhailov, a member of Hizb ut-Tahrir.
29 November 2016, the Moscow District Military Court at an off-site meeting in Petersburg passed a verdict against a Muslim Dmitry Mikhailov.
He was found guilty under Part 2 of Art. 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (participation in the activities terrorist organization) and sentenced to 16 years in a strict regime colony. According to investigators, he organized a Hizb ut-Tahrir cell in St. Petersburg.
D. Mikhailov was detained by police on April 2, 2015 years together with Isa Ragimov, whose sentence was passed on November 21, 2016.
