The case against supporters of the Volya party

In 2016, in Samara, Moscow and Ulyanovsk, criminal cases were initiated against supporters of the Volya party.

In February 2016, Samara law enforcement agencies conducted searches in houses of the founder of the ANO "Academy of Development" and the leader of the banned party "Volya" Svetlana Lada Rus, formerly known as Peunova. She was charged with Part 3 Art. 159 of the Criminal Code (large-scale fraud): the investigation believes that that Peunova deceptions took possession of the premises, which belonged to one of her followers. In June 2016, she was announced in federal wanted list, and in July - on the international wanted list. In addition, in In July, a second criminal case was initiated against Peunova on article 111 of the Criminal Code (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, committed group of persons): according to the investigation, a woman who joined the "Academy development" and the psychological trainings that took place in it, due to the actions management acquired a mental disorder. In addition, initiated case and Article 239 of the Criminal Code (creation organizations that infringe on the personality and rights of citizens). In Peunova's house searched three times.

In Samara, a case was also initiated against Peunova's assistant Marina Gerasimova. In February 2016, she started a criminal case of fraud and put in a pre-trial detention center. The accusation was based on the statement of her colleague that Gerasimova deceived someone else's car. In the summer of 2016 Gerasimov released under house arrest due to a serious health condition. Other supporters of Peunova from Samara, Olga Sakhno and Tatyana Moseychuk, are also involved in the case. The investigation charges them with the same articles (159, 111, 239). Their property has been seized. The women are put on the federal wanted list.

Anna Dmitrieva from Zhigulevsk (Samara Region) is charged under Article 282 of the Criminal Code (inciting hatred) for repost "VKontakte". Sberbank blocked all her accounts. She spent six months under house arrest.

However, the grounds on which the Rudnichny District Court of Prokopyevsk in 2011 recognized the leaflet "We do not trust this government!" extremist, we find insufficient.
