Ivanovo: administrative fine for publishing a prohibited video on a social network

In December 2016, in Ivanovo, the court fined 1,000 rubles of a local resident born in 1992 for publishing a prohibited item on a social network video.

In December 2016, Ivanovo initiated administrative case under Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (mass distribution extremist materials).

The case was initiated against a local resident born in 1992, which, according to law enforcement agencies, in 2012, under a pseudonym, published on his page in the social network "VKontakte" video, included in Federal list of extremist materials.

Details, unfortunately, were not reported.

The Soviet District Court of Ivanovo recognized the young man guilty and fined him 1,000 rubles.
