Yandex.Taxi leaves Crimea

The Yandex.Taxi service stopped working in Crimea, RBC reports . “The service constantly expands geography and in this regard is testing the service in many cities and regions. Including testing was carried out in Crimea. At the moment, it is completed, ”said Yandex.Taxi representative Elina Stavayskaya.

The company does not plan to resume work on the peninsula yet.

Yandex.Taxi worked for more than five months in the largest cities of Crimea: Simferopol, Sevastopol, Evpatoria, Alushta, Yalta, Feodosia, Sudak and Primorsky.

The reason for the company could be sanctions. However, the representative of Yandex has not yet answered the corresponding question.
