The head of the Union of Cinematographers, director Nikita Mikhalkov examined the exposition of the Yeltsin Center, reports TASS. The director’s press service did not specify what evaluation the director gave the exposition.
It is reported that Mikhalkov came to Yekaterinburg to battle the Russian heavyweight Alexander Povetkin.
On the eve of the First Deputy Executive Director of the Presidential Center B. N. Yeltsin Lyudmila Teena said that the leadership of the Yeltsin Center does not intend to edit or shoot a video from the history of Russia, which was criticized by Nikita Mikhalkov.
“Of course, we are not going to change anything. This is not included in our plans. And instead, to show some cartoon, shot according to the script of Nikita Sergeyevich Mikhalkov, I think this is hardly possible, ”Telion said.
According to her, the task of the video that visitors to the museum watches at the beginning of the exposition is to create a historical essay on the relationship between society and the authorities in Russia in an artistic form throughout its history.
“It is unlikely that Nikita Sergeyevich believes that the museum was made by idiots. The museum was made by highly professional people, including the video. No one set a goal to state the whole of Russian history in eight minutes, it would be just stupid, arrogant and unassuming, ”Telion said.
On December 12, Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky published an article in which he stated that the Yeltsin Center showed a film in which the history of Russia is presented as a set of shameful abominations. The Minister of Culture commented on the situation around the Yeltsin Center after criticism by director Nikita Mikhalkov.
“The low -grade slut, which rose around Nikita Mikhalkov’s speech in the Federation Council, is not a significant event by itself. However, this slut accurately characterizes “from the contrary” the significance of the problem that Mikhalkov is talking about, ”Medinsky wrote.
