Republic of Bashkortostan: fine for publishing photos with Nazi symbols on social networks

In December 2016, in the Republic of Bashkortostan, a court fined a 22-year-old local resident, finding her guilty of posting photographs with Nazi symbols on a social network.

In December 2016, an administrative case was initiated in the Republic of Bashkortostan under Part 1 of Art. 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (propaganda and public display of Nazi symbols).

The case was initiated against a 22-year-old local resident who, according to law enforcement agencies, published some photos with Nazi symbols on her page on the VKontakte social network.
Unfortunately, the details were not reported, and we do not know which photos are in question, and in what context they were published.

The court found the girl guilty and fined.
