Homeless people killed in Rostov-on-Don

On January 11, 2017, two homeless people (a 46-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman) were killed at the Fraternal Cemetery in Rostov-on-Don. Another homeless man managed to escape, and a fourth the attacker spared the homeless woman "because of her young age".

On January 11, 2017, at the Fraternal Cemetery of Rostov-on-Don, a man made two homeless people (a man 46 years old and a woman 36 years old) drunk with alcohol, and then brutally killed them. Another homeless man managed to escape, and a fourth the attacker spared the homeless woman "because of her young age".

On suspicion of murder, a resident of the Tyumen region was detained. The detainee confessed to his deed, and then declared himself on a mission "cleaner" of the city from "worthless people". The attacker was in camouflage clothes, a hat, he had a knife and some kind of army badge with sharpened end. According to the case file, "I met the homeless at station, where he offered to have a drink together ... after a while we went to the Fraternal Cemetery, where the homeless live near the heating main. There he met with already different."

Investigators doubt the mental health of the detainee, along with a number of examinations, a forensic psychiatric examination has also been appointed.
