One of the participants in the Hizb ut-Tahrir case in Crimea was charged with an additional charge of attempting to seize power by force.
13th of January 2017 in Simferopol, Muslim Enver Bekirov, who was arrested in the Hizb case ut-Tahrir” in Crimea, were additionally accused of attempting to seize power by force (Art. 30 and Art. 278 of the Criminal Code).

January 17, 2017 it became known that an additional charge under the same article (Article 30 and Article 278 of the Criminal Code) was brought against Vadim Siruk.

Recall that Enver Bekirov and Vadim Siruk were detained (and later arrested) in February 2016, together with other Muslims suspected of collaborating with Hizb ut-Tahrir - Emir Usein Kuku and Muslim Aliyev. A criminal case was initiated against them under Parts 1 and 2 of Art. 205.5 of the Criminal Code (organization of the activities of a terrorist organization).

We consider it necessary to recall that supporters of Hizb ut-Tahrir in Russia have never been convicted of real conspiratorial activity, and the practice of persecution on charges of preparing a violent seizure of power, when these charges are put forward only on the basis of party activity (for example , holding discussions or distributing literature), we consider unlawful. We also consider it unlawful to persecute members of Hizb ut-Tahrir under anti-terrorist articles.
