January 13, 2017 Leninsky District Court of Ivanovo satisfied the claim of the district prosecutor's office and gave the doctors of the Ivanovo regional clinical hospital permission for a blood transfusion to a girl whose parents refused this manipulation, referring to religious beliefs.
The child was admitted to the hematology department the day before with diagnosed with severe anemia of uncertain origin. The girl's father informed doctors about their disagreement with the daughter's transfusion of donor blood, but the doctors considered that this must be done for health reasons, and turned to prosecutor's office, and that - to the court.
Having received permission from the court, the doctors gave the girls a transfusion, her life is out of danger.
