Severodvinsk: administrative fine for publishing images with Nazi symbols on a social network

In January 2017, in the city of Severodvinsk, Arkhangelsk Region, a court fined a local resident, Valery Yefimov, who was found guilty of posting images with Nazi symbols on a social network.

In January 2017, in the city of Severodvinsk, Arkhangelsk Region, an administrative case was initiated under Art. 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (propaganda and public display of Nazi symbols).

The case was initiated against Valery Sergeevich Efimov, an employee of one of the defense enterprises, who, according to law enforcement agencies, published some materials with Nazi symbols on the Internet.

It was not reported what exactly was published.

During the search, some materials classified as extremist were seized from the young man, as well as items with Nazi symbols, including an SS helmet, a black cap with the SS “Dead Head” emblem and paintings depicting a swastika and Nazi paraphernalia.
The court found V. Yefimov guilty and fined him.
