The case was initiated against a local resident born in 1987, who, according to the case materials, published some xenophobic materials on the VKontakte social network. It was not reported what specific materials were being discussed. It is only known that, according to law enforcement agencies, they contributed to the propaganda of the ideas of National Socialism.
The suspect had previously been convicted under Art. 282 of the Criminal Code.
According to media reports, the detention took place in a fairly harsh manner: SOBR officers burst into the suspect’s apartment shouting: “ Lie down!” Lie down, I said! (...) Wider legs! Face down! Hands behind your back! " The detainee offered no resistance.
