A pensioner from the Moscow region suspected of illegal possession of weapons was detained

A resident of the Moscow region was detained, suspected of illegal possession of weapons and ammunition.

In January 2017, officers of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, together with colleagues from the FSB, with the strong support of SOBR fighters "Lynx" of the Special Forces Center for Rapid Response Forces and Aviation of the Russian Guard, detained a 62-year-old resident of the Moscow region.

At the place of residence of the detainee, weapons were found and confiscated (6 pistols, 10 revolvers, 8 carbines, 3 rifles, 3 submachine guns, 9 rifles, 2 grenades, 17 VOG shots, more than 12 thousand pieces of ammunition, as well as equipment for making ammunition at home).

Images of Nazi symbols, flags of the Right Sector organization banned in Russia, Nazi uniforms from the Great Patriotic War were found in the house.

A bunker was found near the owner's house.

A criminal case has been initiated under Article 222 of the Criminal Code (illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation or carrying of weapons). A preventive measure in the form of a written undertaking not to leave was chosen for the pensioner.
