Residents of Pskov are protesting against the construction of an Orthodox church near a school in a new microdistrict and are demanding public hearings.
On January 30, 2017, it became known that the residents of Pskov protest against the construction of an Orthodox church in a new microdistrict (village Borisovichi).
They are embarrassed that the construction is carried out without public hearings and that the church would be near the school (“Why do we need a temple in sleeping area and even in close proximity to the school? To 1350 children did you look out the windows, how they were taking the funeral of the dead?”).
According to residents, it is much more important to build clinic and kindergartens, and only then the church.
