Chetuk: Criminal case for materials inciting religious hatred

In Adygea, the case of a resident of the village of Chetuk was brought to court for some materials on the social network.

In February 2017, the Teuchezh inter-district prosecutor's office approved the indictment for criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (inciting national hatred or enmity).

According to the materials of the case, a resident of the village of Chetuk posted materials in free access on his page on the social network, "aimed at semantic content to incite hatred and enmity on the basis of attitude to religion, available to an unlimited circle of users"

The criminal case with the approved indictment was sent to the court for consideration on the merits.
