The State Duma will not allow the transfer of sanctions products to needing

The State Duma Committee on Economic Policy recommended rejecting a bill in the first reading, which allows for free transfer of sanctions products for socially significant needs, RIA Novosti reports .

The bill was introduced to the State Duma Senator Anton Belyakov. According to him, the measure proposed by him corresponds to a global trend, "aimed at economically attitude to food in order to support socially unprotected layers of low -income citizens."

The committee considered that the provisions of the bill are not consistent with the law “On Special Economic Measures” and the decrees of President Putin, as well as with the Law “On Customs Regulation in the Russian Federation” adopted in accordance with it.

In addition, the bill does not contain a clear mechanism for the implementation of the free transfer of goods to socially significant needs and does not determine what applies to such needs.
