The temple, previously occupied by the archives committee, was transferred to the Kazan diocese

The building of the Nikolo-Gostinodvorsky temple in Kazan, formerly occupied by the Republican State Committee for Archival Affairs, transferred to the Russian Orthodox Church. Committee move to another building.  

February 6, 2017 Ministry of Land and Property relations of the Republic of Tatarstan was transferred to the ownership of the Kazan diocese building on Kremlin street. The temple is part of the Gostiny Dvor complex of buildings beginning of the 19th century, but the building itself belongs to an earlier period.

For a long time the building was occupied by the State Committee Republic of Tatarstan on archives. The institution was provided with a new building.
