Russia secretly placed new cruise missiles contrary to the agreement signed between Moscow and Washington in 1987. This was written by The New York Times with reference to the administration of the US President.

According to the interlocutor of the publication, Russia has two battalions of prohibited missiles. One of the battalions is located at the Kapustin Yar training ground (Astrakhan region), the second in December 2016 was transferred from the landfill to the operational base. The source did not name the location of the second base.
