Andrei Puchkov, a representative of the Tver community of the Society for Krishna Consciousness, is challenging the rulings on initiating two cases of illegal missionary work against him.

On February 15, 2017, it became known that Andrei Puchkov, a representative of the Tver community of the Society for Krishna Consciousness, intends to challenge two rulings on initiating cases of illegal missionary work against him.

For the first time, an administrative case under Art. 5.26 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of legislation on freedom of conscience, freedom of religion and religious associations) was initiated in October 2016 - after the procession of Hare Krishnas in Tver. The second time - in connection with the concert "Mantra Yoga", organized on October 23, 2016. Moreover, for the second time, believers were accused of illegal missionary work three days before the start of the action and despite A. Puchkov's permission to conduct missionary activities.

Lawyer A. Puchkov is sure that "the process was initiated by the regional FSB", but he intends to challenge both decisions after he gets acquainted with the case materials.
