The deputy chairman of the Tatfondbank was detained in the suburbs

Deputy Chairman of the Board of Tatfondbank, Sergei Meshchanov, was detained in the Moscow region on suspicion of fraud. This was reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Tatarstan.

“Currently, the detainee has been delivered to Kazan,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs said in the region.

Meshchanov was on the federal wanted list on the theft of funds transferred to the trust management of the subsidiary of the Tatfondbank-“TFB Finance”.

Earlier, the police of Tatarstan received more than 100 statements from the TFB-Finance depositors.
