In March 2017, in the Murmansk region, the investigation of the criminal case of a resident of the city of Murmansk, accused under Part 1 of Art. 205.2 of the Criminal Code (public calls for terrorist activities), Part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (inciting national hatred and enmity).
According to the case file, the defendant (born 1998) posted on his personal page on the social network VKontakte a text and an image containing " linguistic and psychological signs of an incitement to carry out terrorist activities ". In addition, in July 2015, the defendant posted a text and an image on a social network, in which experts found " linguistic and psychological signs of inciting enmity, hatred ."
The criminal case with the indictment approved by the prosecutor was sent to the court for consideration on the merits.
