On March 2, 2017, it became known that deputy Valery Rashkin (KPRF) appealed to the Prosecutor General's Office, the Ministry of Justice, the FSB and the Foreign Ministry with the requirement to check the activities of the “sectologist” Alexander Dvorkin in connection with his statements against Hinduism.

“ The frequency of his actions in relation to different religions, confessions, nationalities located on the territory of the Russian Federation (in particular, in relation to citizens India), in my opinion, testifies to the task before him to inflate an international scandal and involve Russia in new wars ,” V. Rashkin said in a deputy request.
