The Turkish Foreign Ministry expressed concern in connection with the death of a Turkish soldier in Syria, for which the Russian Federation is responsible. The temporary attorney of Russia Sergey Panov was invited to the Turkish Foreign Ministry. This was stated at a briefing by the official representative of the Foreign Ministry Hushesin Muftuoglu.
“On the eve of our soldier died as a result of a sniper’s actions. The shooting was carried out from the territory to the SAR, where Russia is responsible for the control and execution of the ceasefire, which is why we invited the temporary attorney of the Russian Federation, ”he explained. According to the official, shooting was conducted from the territory controlled by the Syrian Kurds - the Party of the Democratic Union. Ankara demanded from Moscow the closure of the DS office in Syria. Relations between Turkey and Russia were again aggravated due to the fact that Moscow never lifted the ban on the import of Turkish tomatoes and cucumbers. In response to this, Ankara excluded Russia from the list of countries importing agricultural products without duties.
