The Sverdlovsk Regional Court confirmed the legality of the refusal of the regional Ministry of Public Security to agree on a rally in the trace of the investigation of the Corruption Fund for Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. This was written by Interfax with reference to the press service of the regional court.
The reason for the refusal by the Ministry of Public Security was called that the purpose of the event violates the Russian Constitution. Earlier, the same rallies refused the organizers in St. Petersburg and Kaliningrad.
Along with this, the Vakhitovsky District Court of Kazan recognized the decision of the executive committee to refuse to agree on the rally illegal. Earlier, the organizer of the action, the head of the election headquarters of Alexei Navalny in Kazan, Elvira Dmitrieva, appealed to the court to recognize such a decision. She stated that she considers the executive committee refusal illegal, since he did not propose other options for holding a rally, which is required by the federal law on rallies.
