Published a video of the murder of Voronenkov

A video of the murder of the former State Duma deputy Denis Voronenkov appeared in the media. It was published by RBC-Ukraine with reference to sources in the investigating authorities.

Earlier it became known that the killer of the ex-deputy of the State Duma Denis Voronenkov was 28-year-old Pavel Parshov. This was announced by adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko on his Facebook page. “The murder of Denis Voronenkov was committed by a citizen of Ukraine Parshov Pavel Alexandrovich, born in 1988, a native of the city of Sevastopol, an agent of Russian special services,” he wrote.

As Gerashchenko said, Pavel Parshov never officially went abroad to Ukraine, but in February 2015 he crossed her, passing the checkpoint on the border with Belarus. Before that, he took place in Russia a course of special training at a school for saboteurs. In Ukraine, he was supposed to "implement one of the units of the Armed Forces or the National Guard, preferably having a loud name in the public consciousness and pretend that he is an ordinary soldier."

According to the adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Parshov resigned in August 2016 and after that he was waiting for an order from Moscow.

In connection with the incident, Gerashchenko promised to tighten the criteria for verification when admitted to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard and other law enforcement agencies for involvement in the work on the special services of the Russian Federation.

Parshov’s name is in the database of wanted criminals of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. According to information on the website of the department, he is accused of fictitious entrepreneurship and legalization of income. Parshov has been wanted since 2011.
