According to the lawyer Mubarak, he left the military hospital in Maadi and headed for his house in Heliopolis.

On March 2, the Cassation Court of Egypt freed the former leader from accusations of the death of hundreds of protesters during the Arab Spring. The solution is final and is not subject to appeal.
