Sochi: fine for a swastika on a fence

In March 2017, in the city of Sochi, Krasnodar Territory, the court fined a 30-year-old local resident found guilty of drew a swastika on the fence.

In March 2017, in the city of Sochi, Krasnodar Territory, there were an administrative case was initiated under Part 1 of Art. 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (propaganda and public displaying Nazi symbols).

The case was initiated against a 30-year-old unemployed local resident, who, according to law enforcement agencies, painted on one of fences of the city the Nazi swastika.

Previously, a young man was neither criminal nor administrative was not held responsible.

On March 21, the court found the young man guilty and fined.

The image has already been painted over.
