In the nomination “Drama / performance of a large form”, “Russian Roman” (dir. Mindaugas Karbauskis, the Mayakovsky Theater, Moscow; finalist of the Prize “Nail of the Season”).
For work on this performance, Marus Ivashkevichus was awarded the Golden Mask in the Drama / Work of the Drama, and Evgeny Simonova in the category of “Drama / Female Role”. In the category of “Drama / Male Role”, Danila Kozlovsky, a leading role in Gamlet (dir. Lev Dodin, small drama theater - European Theater, Petersburg; the Prize “The Nail of the Season”, the best performance ) was awarded.
The best director of the drama theater was named Andrei Molchy for the play “Thunderstorm” (BDT named after G.A. Tovstonogov, Petersburg).
Roddinda (Bolshoi Theater, Moscow) was recognized as the best opera performance, and its director Richard Jones is the best opera director. In the category “Opera / Work of the conductor”, the Prize was awarded to theodor Krentzis for working on the play “Traviata” (Perm Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after P.I. Tchaikovsky). Soprano Nadezhda Pavlova , who performed the Violetta party in this performance, received a “golden mask” in the “Opera / Women's Role” category. In the category “Opera / Male Role”, tenor Liparit Avetisyan (“Manon”, Moscow Musical Theater) was awarded.
The award for the best ballet production was received by the play “Romeo and Juliet” (choir Vyacheslav Samodurov , the Yekaterinburg State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater), the “Golden Mask” also received the performer of the party Mercutio Igor Bulytsin.
In the category of “Modern Dance”, the play “All ways lead to the north” (“Ballet Moscow”) won the category. Two Golden Masks received the play “Violin concert No. 2” (Mariinsky Theater, Petersburg): Anton Pimonov was awarded for the work of choreographer/choreographer, for the best female role - Victoria Tereshkina.
