Leader of an unregistered Baptist group in Transbaikalia was fined for the lack of notification of the start of the group's activities.  

On April 24, 2017, it became known that in the village of Chara Kalarsky district of the Trans-Baikal Territory, the head of the evangelical group was fined Baptist Christians Andrew G.

The district prosecutor's office saw a violation of the laws "On countering extremist activity” and “On freedom of conscience and religious associations" in the fact that a group of believers held their meetings without notifying the regional department of the Ministry of Justice.

Andrei G. found guilty under Art. 19.7 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (failure to provide information), he was fined as a punishment.
