In Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, a criminal case has been opened against a 46-year-old local resident for xenophobic videos on social networks.
In April 2017, the Investigative Department for Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee for the Sakhalin Region, initiated a criminal case against a 46-year-old local resident. He is suspected under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (inciting hatred or enmity). According to investigators, in December 2015, the suspect posted xenophobic videos and statements on his page for free access.
