Troitsk: a case has been opened for a xenophobic drawing on the social network VKontakte

In the Moscow region, a criminal case has been initiated against an 18-year-old resident of Troitsk for a xenophobic drawing on the VKontakte social network.

In April 2017, in the Moscow Region, a criminal case was initiated under Part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code (inciting national hatred) against an 18-year-old resident of Troitsk for xenophobic publications on the VKontakte social network.

According to the case file, an 18-year-old resident of Troitsk posted in free access on his page on the social network VKontakte "images that have signs of propaganda of the ideology of Nazism, racism, violence, incitement to enmity, hatred." The young man was interrogated, and his apartment was searched, during which the operatives seized a computer system unit and a mobile phone. The accused is under bail.
