Local far-right activist detained in Pskov

On April 26, 2017, local ultra-right activist Georgy Pavlov (Gosha Ariets) was detained in Pskov.
On the evening of April 26, 2017 in Pskov, at the intersection of Oktyabrsky Prospekt and Nekrasova Street, local ultra-right activist Georgy Pavlov (Gosha Ariets) was detained. According to the detainee, he "stood with bags" where there were invitations to the action "I'm Tired" on April 29. The police approached him and invited him to the duty station. “They read the contents of the leaflets there and found nothing extremist in them,” said G. Pavlov.
In September 2016, Pavlov was sentenced to 250 hours of compulsory labor for posting xenophobic materials online. In December 2000, Pavlov was sentenced to 5 and a half years probation for inciting ethnic hatred as a participant in attacks on the Pskov Free University and a Baptist church. In 2014, he took part in the local "Russian March" organized by the "Pskov Russian Republic".
He was expelled from the Liberal Democratic Party and withdrawn from the northwestern Cossack reserve.
