Tver: the investigation of the case under Art. 280

In April 2017, in Tver, the case against 28-year-old local resident, accused of publishing certain articles on VKontakte materials with calls for extremist activity. In April 2017, an investigation was completed in Tver criminal case on public calls for extremism (part 2 of article 280 of the Criminal Code).

The case was initiated against a 28-year-old local resident who according to law enforcement agencies, from October 29, 2014 to February 6, 2016 published on his page in the social network "VKontakte" some xenophobic materials.

Details were not reported.

The case has already been transferred to the Zavolzhsky District Court of Tver for consideration on the merits.
