Putin announced the complete restoration of Russian-Turkish relations

The period of restoration of relations between Russia and Turkey after the crisis is completed, they returned to the normal state. According to TASS, this was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a press conference following negotiations with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

“Some time ago, our bilateral relations were tested for strength. Now it is safe to state that the recovery period in the Russian -Turkish relations is completed, we are returning to normal partnerships, ”Putin said.

“Türkiye is an important and promising partner of Russia,” the Russian leader emphasized. According to him, the Russian Federation and Türkiye are configured to further strengthen multifaceted cooperation in accordance with the Treaty on the Fundamentals of Bilateral Relations, which is 25 years old at the end of May.

Putin also announced the need to ensure the safety of tourists from the Russian Federation in Turkey.

“On these May holidays, a third of Russian tourists who went to rest abroad chose Turkey. Therefore, it is fundamentally important to ensure the reliable safety of Russian citizens in Turkish resorts, ”Putin said.
