Employees of the FSB and Center "E" found a book by Said Nursi in the prayer room.
On May 5, 2017, employees of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Sverdlovsk Region and the Center for Combating Extremism of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Sverdlovsk Region inspected a prayer room located in Yekaterinburg on Artinskaya Street and working on behalf of the central religious organization of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Sverdlovsk Region (Ural Mukhtasibat).
It is reported that religious literature was seized during the inspection, it will be sent for examination. It is known that one of the seized editions was the book "Faith and Man" from the collected works of the Turkish Islamic theologian Said Nursi "Risale-i-Nur". It was recognized as extremist by the Koptevsky District Court of Moscow in 2007.
We consider it unlawful to ban Nursi's works, since they do not contain any extreme statements.
