Treatment of Navalny abroad will take about a week

Alexey Navalny plans to spend about a week in the clinic abroad. This was told by RBC by the head of the Federal Staff of Navalny Leonid Volkov.

“He has a not very difficult operation, I think he will be abroad for at least a week,” Volkov said. He also added that the politician filed documents for the “European visa”. The Navalny team hopes that his absence will not affect the campaign.

Earlier in his blog, the politician said that he might go for treatment to Switzerland or Spain. On May 4, he was given a passport.

Recall, on April 27, Alexei Navalny received a chemical burn of the eye. He was doused with greening at the office of the Corruption Fund. The politician doctor suggested that the green was mixed with another, more dangerous to the substance.
