Kirov: the case under Art. 282 and art. 280

In May 2017, in Kirov, the case under Art. 282 of the Criminal Code and art. 280 Criminal Code against a 21-year-old local resident suspected of publishing xenophobic materials in the social network.

In May 2017, an investigation into the case of initiating national hatred (part 1 of article 282 of the Criminal Code) and public calls for extremism (part 1 of Art. 2 tbsp. 280 of the Criminal Code).

A 21-year-old local resident will soon be in the dock, who, according to according to law enforcement agencies, in 2015 he published on his page in social network "VKontakte" some xenophobic texts and images.

The materials published were reported to be of a nationalist nature. and called for violence.

The suspect pleaded guilty and expressed remorse.

The case has already been referred to the court for consideration on the merits.
