On May 31, 2017, it became known that Witness Jehovah from the city of Asha (Chelyabinsk region) was found guilty under Part 4 of Art. 5.26 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (implementation of missionary activities with violation of the requirements of the legislation on freedom of conscience, freedom religion and religious associations) and fined court for 25 thousand rubles.

The Ashina city prosecutor's office saw a violation in the fact that since May 2016 years in his house on the street.
