Mosgorsud: photos with a prisoner chained to the wall are “staged”

A photograph with an arrested citizen of Uzbekistan Kamron Usmonov, chained to the wall in one of the premises of the Moscow City Court, is “staged in nature” and is not true, the press secretary of the court Ulyana Solopova said on Facebook.

According to her, in the Moscow City Court there is no premises depicted in the photo, and the words about the “guns of torture” in the court are “provocative in court”.

“In the room to get acquainted with the case materials <...>, 2 tables, 2 stools are in fact, 2 rings are mounted at the level of written tables, the room is equipped with a video camera. The established rings are designed to restrict the freedom of actions of persons detained exclusively to ensure the safety of the court officers, in the presence of which familiarization with the case file, ”the spokesman writes.

Solopova assured that all complaints that are entered by employees of the convoy service in the Moscow City Court are redirected to the investigating authorities.
