The deputy chairman of the Presidential Economic Council Alexei Kudrin said that he did not understand why the former chief accountant of the Seventh Studio Nina Maslyaeva was detained, reports Fontanka.ru.

“For some reason, they are kept under the arrest of this accountant of the theater, despite the fact that she will not run away anywhere,” Kudrin said at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum during a discussion about administrative pressure on business.

According to Kudrin, because of this, the confidence of the business falls, and the price of the error "becomes too high."

On May 30, Nina Maslyaeva, arrested in the case of the theft of budget funds, was visited by the journalist of Rain and a member of the Public Supervisory Commission of Moscow Kogeshyn Sagieva.

Maslyaeva stated that she was “ready for everything” to let her go. “I want to go out, I'm not a young man to sit here. The lawyer appealed to be sent home, I pray to be at home to recover. I will not disappear. I will help the investigation, ”she said.

Maslyaeva diagnosed diabetes and coronary heart disease. According to the woman, she is “already very bad” and she “will not last two months”.
