FAS opened a case against Gett taxi

The Moscow OFAS Russia opened a case against Gett (Gettaxi Rus LLC) in Russia. As stated on the website of the department, the FAS believes that the company distributes information that is misleading customers regarding the cost of services.

The case was started under paragraph 4 of Art. 14.2 of the Law on the Protection of Competition ("A ban on unfair competition by misleading").

“On the“ scallops ”located on the roofs of passenger taxis, as well as on the sides and rear windows of cars, the company places information:“ Gett Taxi from 50 rubles ”. At the same time, according to the results of the audit, the department established that the minimum fee for Gett Taxi services is 68 rubles. This information is confirmed by information from the Tariffs section on the Gett.com website, ”the report said.

As the FAS statement states, earlier the department issued the company a order to stop distributing the information “Gett Taxi from 50 rubles”. However, the company did not pay attention to the warning.
