The Ministry of Justice recognized academic degrees in theology

On June 14, 2017, an order of the Ministry of Justice was signed on the recognition of scientific degrees in theology.

“From today we can award the degree in theology that we have dreamed of for so long,” said Russian Minister of Education and Science Olga Vasilyeva, speaking at the conference “Theology in the Humanitarian Educational Space.”

Let us recall that the Higher Attestation Commission recognized theology as a scientific discipline in 2015, and in 2016 dissertation and expert councils on theology were created.
