In Togliatti, a case against the head of the “Community of Indigenous Russian People” was brought to court

In the Samara region, a criminal case has been initiated against the head of the "Community of the Indigenous Russian People" association from Tolyatti, Viktor Permyakov. In September 2017, the case was submitted to the court for consideration on the merits.

In July 2017, in the city of Tolyatti, Samara Region, a criminal case was initiated against the 64-year-old head of the "Community of the Indigenous Russian People" (OKRN) Viktor Permyakov. He is charged with Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (inciting national hatred or enmity) and art. 280.1 of the Criminal Code (public calls for the implementation of actions aimed at violating the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation).

According to law enforcement officers, on March 19, 2017, Viktor Permyakov held a meeting of the organization's activists at the organization's headquarters and handed out leaflets, which, as shown by linguistic expertise, "are extremist." The organization's office was searched, more than 200 leaflets, brochures and memos, as well as copiers and computers were confiscated.

In September 2017, the case was submitted to the court for consideration on the merits.

On June 28, 2017, a criminal case was also initiated against the head of the OKRN in the Samara region, Lyubov Kuzayeva, for publishing on the Internet.

Recall that some of the branches of this organization were recognized as extremist and added to the Federal List of Extremist Organizations . Under paragraph 36, the "Community of the Indigenous Russian people of the Shchelkovsky district of the Moscow region", recognized as extremist by the Shchelkovsky City Court of the Moscow Region on February 25, 2014. And under paragraph 55, the Community of the Indigenous Russian People of Astrakhan, Astrakhan Region, recognized as extremist by the Soviet District Court of Astrakhan on July 21, 2016.
